Nothing can quite match the simple beauty of a female body. Since a critique is requested I shall try and give one then.Nothing can quite match the simple beauty of a female body, this is just plain and simply enthicing. Her pose is not openly exposed and her eyes at the camera just help give that "predator-like" appeal that most men crave. Her body is equisite, her curves are beautiful and the whie sheets make the whole scene seem surreal at first. The soft lighting and the colors do their work in making this whole picture just work. The model is gorgeous, her body is sexy and her eyes are enchanting. All in all a magnificent pin-up and I shall check the rest of your gallery my good sir.
Love the lighting and tones in this photo. Must say, the positioning is excellent as well. I don't know if you meant to do this (my experience is everything has a purpose whether known or sublimally thought) but the curved line of the bed accentuates the curves of the model's body. I think someone else said earlier that the picture reminds them of a 60's style pinup. I would agree. I would only say that, if you can, you might play with the cropping slightly-maybe see if you can pan back just a little and see if there is a difference in framing. I know that, most of the time, you want to come in to frame the subject as close as possible but (for me, anyway) the bed and its shape plays a role in the subject's framing for this photo.
Another fantastic lighting job. So natural, with most of the face 'hiding' in a transparent shadow that doesn't obscure a single hair on the left side of her head. That's amazing! Even the white pillow cases aren't blown out. With all that I can barely decipher where the strobes were placed and even then I don't know if I'm correct. Looks like it's time for me pony up some cash and buy your lighting DVDs. Your $50 project was filled with wonderful information. Now, if I could just get Divini Rae to pose . . .
